On Wednesday, 4 February, at 5:30 p.m., in the halls of Palazzo Firenze, the Dante Alighieri Society and the Rome Opera House present Inferno, a contemporary opera by Lucia Ronchetti inspired by the first canto of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

The discussion will feature Alessandro Masi, Secretary General of the Dante Alighieri Society, Giuliano Danieli representing the Rome Opera House Foundation, composer Lucia Ronchetti, Dante scholar Aldo Onorati, and musicologist Matteo Macinanti, who will reflect on the relationship between poetry, music, and vision, and between literary tradition and contemporary writing.
