Musicologist Francesca Guerrasio will present a new paper entitled: "Meaning and contribution of traditional language and motivic material in contemporary percussion music by Másson and Ronchetti " with live performances by the percussionist Vincenzo D'Acunto of excerpts from "Konzertstück" by Áskel Másson and "Lacus Timoris" by Lucia Ronchetti.
The contribution is part of the 22nd International Conference on Music Analysis and Theory (GATM), to be held in Salerno from 2 to 5 October at the “G. Martucci” Conservatory of Music.
The session entitled ‘Echoes and Paths in the Second Half of the 20th Century’ will be chaired by Gianluca Dai Prà.
