Sonic Acts is an Amsterdam-based platform dedicated to artistic research, experiments in sound and image, and ecological thinking. Alongside operating as a press and record label and a commissioning platform, Sonic Acts organises a biennial festival comprising a large-scale exhibition and symposium programme, as well as film screenings, concerts and discursive events.
In parallel with co-commissioning the new sound installation Love Numbers by Anthea Caddy and Marcin Pietruszewski with the Biennale Musica 2023, Sonic Acts presents an afterhours programme comprised of Snufkin, S280F, aya, MFO, emme, Yen Tech, Soft Break, with immersive light and space design by visual artist Theresa Baumgartner.
