Biennale College Musica- Selected artists 2023
The 2023 call for the Biennale College Musica – addressed to composers, sound artists, programmers, and performers between the ages of 18 and 30 – was available online from 2 December 2022 through 31 January 2023.
10 musicians were selected from around the world for a programme of residency, research and production of a new creation to be premiered at the 67th International Festival of Contemporary Music titled Micro-Music (16 > 29 October 2023).
The selected composers and performers will be assisted by the tutors of the Biennale College Musica 2023: Miller Puckette (Algorithmic Composition), Gerfried Stocker (AI and Biotechnology applied to Music), Thierry Coduys (Sound Diffusion), Brigitta Muntendorf (Digital Composition, AR and AI), Oscar Pizzo (Sound Dramaturgy), Kyoka (Experimental Performance), Ali Nikrang (Creative Intelligence), and Yoko Shimizu (Symbiotic Creativity).
